GREAT FALLS, Mont., August 18, 2025 — The 2025-26 edition of the Great Falls Americans began today as the team conducted their first training camp day along with their annual Media Day at the Great Falls Ice Plex on Monday, August 18, 2025. The team returns around 11 players from the 2024-25 squad including defensemen Keegan Hanson and Fisher Hannesson and forwards Gavin Denis and Cooper Clouse.
Hanson, Hannesson, Denis and Clouse along with Head Coach Greg Sears participated in the Media Day fesitivities and press conference on Monday afternoon.

- Season and Individual Game Tickets: 2025-26 GF Americans Season and individual game tickets are now on sale at www.greatfallsamericans.com
- Americans Pre-Season Main Camp: Monday, August 18 – Saturday, August 23: Great Falls Ice Plex, Great Falls, MT.
- Great Falls Americans Team Dinner (Public Welcome) and Fan Social: Thursday, August 21: Come Meet the 2025-26 Great Falls Americans Team and enjoy dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings (117 Northwest Bypass) in Great Falls, MT at 7:45PM (MST).
- Great Falls Americans Annual “Blue & White” Intrasquad Scrimmage: Saturday, August 23: Come out to the Great Falls Ice Plex at 7:00PM (MST) to watch the 2025-26 Americans in action at their scrimmage. The scrimmage is FREE to the PUBLIC.
- Great Falls Americans Hockey Night (Stadium Rick Springo): Tuesday, August 26: Come on out to Annie’s Taphouse (112 Central Avenue) at 6:30PM (MST) to celebrate Hockey Night.
Great Falls Americans Home Debut: Friday, September 5th: Catch the Great Falls Americans as they make their 2025-26 home debut in their first game of the season when they challenge their rivals, the Helena Bighorns starting at 7:05PM (MST) at the Great Falls Ice Plex.
- Great Falls Americans Pre-Game Tailgate Party presented by Bish’s RV of Great Falls: Saturday, September 6th: Before the Americans second game of the season, come over to the Great Falls Ice Plex at 5:00PM (MST) before the action begins on the ice against the Bozeman Ice Dogs at 7:05PM (MST) for a BBQ and music by local group, “After Five.”
- Eagle Mount Therapeutic Recreation ‘Sled Hockey”: Friday, September 12th: During the first intermission against the Badlands Sabres, Eagle Mount Therapeutic Recreation will be playing Sled Hockey. Game time is set for 7:05PM (MST) against the Sabres
- USA Hockey’s “Try Hockey for Free”: Saturday, September 13th: Want to try playing and learning about hockey? Come on out and try hockey out at 10:00AM (MST) at the Great Falls Ice Plex.
- Point S Tire & Auto “Tricycle Race”: Saturday, September 13th: During the first intermission, kids can sign up (before the game) to compete in the Tricycle Race during the first intermission against the Badlands Sabres.
The Americans will conduct their annual Red vs. White Intrasquad Scrimmage on Saturday, August 23rd at 7:00PM at the Great Falls Ice Plex. The season opener will be a home date against their rivals, the Helena Bighorns on Friday, September 5th at 7:00PM live from the Great Falls Ice Plex.
Prior to the Media Day and the first day of training camp, the Americans conducted their annual Cornhole Tournament at the Beacon Icehouse on Saturday, August 16th and also had an Alumni game on Sunday, August 17th. Check out the photos in our photo gallery by clicking here.
