Brian Sears
Brian returns for his sixth year (2023-24) as the Americans head scout. Brian has over 30 years of experience in hockey ranging from youth to juniors. Along with working for the Americans, Brian is a Building and Grounds Administrator, and Municipal Judge for the village of Webster. He currently resides in Webster, Wisconsin.

Jeff Weber
Jeff returns for his sixth year (2023-24) as the Americans Minnesota scout. Jeff is from Eau Claire, Wisconsin and attended Eau Claire North High School. Jeff attended St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. Currently, he is the Assistant Hockey Coach for th Shakopee High School in Shakopee, Minnesota and he resides in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

Emily Bauer
Emily Bauer is in her third year (2023-24) as a scout for the Great Falls Americans. She is from Wausau, Wisconsin and currently lives in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Emily played four years of NCAA DIII hockey for UW-Eau Claire (UWEC). She is currently working in the Sports Information Department for both UWEC men’s and women’s programs and is also a public relations intern for the Chippewa Steel of the NAHL.

Matt Penner
Matt joins the Americans for his fourth season (2023-24) as a Scout. Matt is from Morehead, Minnesota and is currently a teacher and an Assistant Hockey Coach for Hutchison High School in southern Minnesota.

Matt Fisher
Matt is in his sixth season (2023-24) as the Americans Midwest Scout. He has over10 years of experience as a Scout. Matt grew up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and currently resides in Hartford, Wisconsin with his wife and two children.

Alaska Scout
Kyler Mack
Kyler is in his first season (2023-24) as the Americans Alaska Scout. Kyler is a former Great Falls Americans player (2016-2018) who went on to play at the college level for the University of Providence Argos men’s hockey team (ACHA) in Great Falls, Montana. In 2022, Mack graduated from the University of Providence with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science- Athletic Training. He currently is an assistant coach and Strength and Conditioning coach for the U16 and U18 Alaska Oilers since 2022.
