I would like to take this time to thank our very talented players that we have loved watching throughout the 2025-26 season as well as our Team Owner, Matt Leaf and coaching staff led by Head Coach/General Manager, Greg Sears along with assistants Alex Leaf and Marcus Ivey and Strength and Conditioning Coach, Nathan Bring. The game night staff, billet (host) families (including Billet Coordinator, Kris Steichen) and the NA3HL on and off ice officials and transportation coordinator, Rex Rigor for driving the bus to our away contests were also instrumental in the success of the team. We also can’t forget the Great Falls Community Ice Foundation (Great Falls Ice Plex) led by President Ryan Smith and the Great Falls Americans Booster Club for their continued support. Last, but not least, we want to thank all of the fans who supported and came out to watch the Americans in action as well as all of our team sponsors.
The Great Falls American finished the regular season in third place behind the Sheridan (WY) Hawks and the Helena Bighorns. Great Falls’ regular season record was 30-14-2-1 with an 18-6-0-0 record inside the Great Falls Ice Plex and 12-8-2-1 on the road. The Americans advanced to the NA3HL Frontier Division Semi-Finals where they fell in their three games series, 2-1 to the Helena Bighorns to end their 2025-26 campaign with an overall record of 31-15-3-1.

A big thanks to two businesses who provide game day experiences for the fans and players. Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom (1101 7th Street South) for hosting players and fans after all of our home games on Friday and Saturday nights for a post-game dinner and Buffalo Wild Wings (17 Northwest Bypass) for hosting the “Americans Watch Party” this season when the Americans were on the road.

We would like to thank Scott Schrader and Chelle Herbruger from Sky Motion Productions for the local coverage at all of our home games for NATV. A special thanks to JD Pearson, who was our NATV cameraman and Ryan Siders, the “Voice of the Americans” and Play-By-Play commentator and Kevin Scott, our Media Coordinator, who is in charge of our website (www.greatfallsamericans.com), game summaries and press releases and for doing the NATV Intermission Reports and Post Game Show this season. Thank You to Amber Rivera Heck for being our Social Media Coordinator and getting out the information on our Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter) pages throughout the season.
One last special thanks goes out to our official team photographer, Michael Noel for the wonderful action shots he took again this season.
