2026 NA3HL Frontier Divisional Playoffs and Fraser Cup Championship Information

GREAT FALLS, Mont., March 9, 2026 — After the 2025-26 North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) regular season concluded on Saturday, March 7th for all of the Frontier Division teams, the 2026 NA3HL Fraser Cup Playoffs (Frontier Division Semi-Finals) have arrived.
The league announced on Monday, March 9th the schedule for the Frontier Division Semi-Finals (Best-of-3 series) that begin this week. The #4 Badlands (SD) Sabres (23-19-3-2, 51 pts. ) will face the #1 Sheridan (WY) Hawks (34-10-2-1, 71 pts.) and the #3 Great Falls Americans (30-14-2-1, 63 pts.) will challenge the #2 Helena Bighorns (34-12-1-0, 69 pts.).
Frontier Division Semi-Finals (March 11-15) (Best-of-3):The top four teams in each division qualify for the postseason. In the semifinals, the No. 1 seed faces the No. 4 seed, while the No. 2 seed takes on the No. 3 seed, with both matchups played as best-of-three series. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds earn home-ice advantage in the opening round. Alternate scheduling arrangements may be made if mutually agreed upon by both teams. The first team to secure two wins advances to the next round of the playoffs.
Frontier Division Finals (March 18-22) (Best-of-3): The two semifinal winners in each division will meet in a best-of-three Division Final series. Home-ice advantage goes to the higher seed. The first team to earn two victories will be crowned Division Champion and punch its ticket to the Fraser Cup Championship Tournament.
2026 NA3HL Fraser Cup (National) Championship Tournament (March 25-29) Round-Robin Format: The six divisional playoff champions will advance to the NA3HL Fraser Cup Championship Tournament, where they will play a two-game round-robin format followed by a semifinal and a championship game at the St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, MO. A round-robin format with two pools will be implemented, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the semifinals, where they will then cross over to play the other top two teams from the other pool. The winners of the semifinals will advance to the Fraser Cup Final.
