GFA: JR. HOCKEY SUMMER SHOWDOWN 2026
The Great Falls Americans, a USA Hockey sanctioned TIer III Junior Hockey Team playing in the NA3HL’s Frontier Division located in Great Falls, Montana, provides a structured opportunity with both on-ice and off-ice development promoting individual growth to the athlete.
The Americans are providing an opportunity for players (born 2015-2018) to take advantage of a summer ice experience culminating with the participation in the Las Vegas Showdown Tournament in July (16-18) as part of their youth hockey commitment. There will be TWO teams selected (11U for 2015-16 birth years and 9U (2017-18 birth years) with on-ice and off-ice training before the tournament.
The Jr. Americans Summer Showdown includes a 4-Game minimum on full-ice, a roster with no more than 16 players, and 5 Practices with Off-Ice and Classroom Training (May 10, June 7, 21, 28, and July 12). Great Falls Americans coaches will provide the training and game jerseys and socks will be provided.
The practices will occur on Sunday evenings from 5:00PM to 6:00PM followed by a 45-minute of off-ice training from 6:15PM to 7:00PM. Every player will have access to the Off-Ice Shooting and Stickhandling Room at the Great Falls Ice Plex , 4001 29th Street SW, Great Falls, Montana 59404 (Google Maps)
The Team Fee is $525, which includes the tournament entry fee.
On Sunday, April 26th, a mandatory player evaluation session is available from 5:00PM to 6:00PM (9U) and 6:15PM to 7:15PM (11U). The cost of the evaluation is $20.00 per camper.
