Dear Great Falls Americans Enthusiast: The Americans are happy to be home and are excited to salute our military heroes during our Military
Appreciation Weekend presented by 1st Liberty Federal Credit Union. We host the Yellowstone Quake this weekend after winning both games last weekend (7-3 Friday in Butte and 4-1 at home versus Bozeman Saturday) and improving our record over the last ten games to 8-1-1. The Americans were led by Ethan Miller who earned the NA3HL #1 Star of the Week honors for the Frontier Division while Reid Lezubski earned 3rd Star honors.

his coming weekend is always a very special weekend for the players, and we are happy to have 1st Liberty Federal Credit Union on board as our presenting partner. We should have a large presence from Malmstrom AFB and will include several ways to honor them for their service throughout the weekend. Of course, the highlight is the special edition military themed jerseys (See left) that pay homage to Malmstrom AFB and will be signed and auctioned off after the weekend with a portion of the proceeds going towards the Top 3- Fly Home Program. The Top 3 at Malmstrom Air Force Base is committed to helping hardworking, reliable, and dedicated Airmen “Fly Home” each quarter to visit their family and friends. Our goal is to help grow and sustain this program so we can continue supporting deserving Airmen in reconnecting with loved ones. To place your bid on any or all the jerseys, simply scan the QR Code and activate it with DASH. The jersey auction will run from 5:00 PM MT on Friday through 8:00 PM MT on Tuesday.
It promises to be a great weekend to honor a significant and important part of Great Falls’ history and culture directly related to the Air Force Base and other military heroes. We are also partnering with 1st Liberty Federal Credit Union for a food drive by accepting non-perishable food donations during this weekend as we head into the holiday season. For those buying tickets at the door, you will receive a $1 discount on your ticket for your donation. And plan on joining us for some great food and drink at our Official Post Game Gathering Place Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom after the games.
The other thing that has our players and staff excited this week is our partnership with the Special Olympics of Montana to support some of
their many activities in the coming year. The Polar Plunge®, a proud Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) tradition since 1999, has grown from one chilly jump in Whitefish to 14 plunges across Montana — raising more than $450,000 each year for Special Olympics Montana athletes! The Americans are joining the fun at the Cool Schools Challenge at both Lincoln Elementary and Sacajawea Elementary Schools! The Great Falls Americans are teaming up to help support the incredible fundraising efforts but also — if the school hits its goal, one of your favorite players will take the icy plunge and get DUNKED with an ice bucket by a lucky student. We will have donation boxes at the upcoming games or scan either of the QR codes below to be able to donate for this worthy cause with the proceeds going towards Lincoln Elementary and Sacajawea Elementary Schools efforts to reach their donation goals.

Our home game on the 28th versus Helena will be Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana Night. Then you will want to stay tuned with DASH for not only the military jersey auction, but the Great Falls Americans special 12 Days of Christmas event where we will be drawing a mystery prize winner each day from December 13th-24th. Enter to win the Great Falls Americans “12 days of Christmas” by purchasing a special edition Baldy Christmas Ornament through DASH. We will also be running a “Jersey Off Our Back” auction presented by Russell Country Federal Credit Union where proceeds supporting the Josh Huestis Foundation, a local non-profit that supports youth programs and initiatives. This activation will run during our Teddy Bear Toss and Salute to 10U Hockey home game on December 6th and will conclude our last game prior to the league showcase and Christmas break.

- December 4th – – Special Olympics of Montana Ice Bucket Challenge at Sacajawea Elementary
- December 5th – Away game at 7:05 PM Puck drop and join our fans at Buffalo Wild Wings for our official Watch Party location.
- December 6th – Home game versus First annual “Teddy Bear Toss” presented by Russell Country Federal Credit Union and “Salute to 10U Hockey”!
- December 14th -16th – NA3HL Showcase in Blaine, Games times and opponents TBD.
- December 17th -26th – Christmas Break for all Americans players and staff.
- December 27th – Hockey Day in Americans Practice and youth hockey clinics.
- December 31st – New Years Eve Home game versus 6:05 PM Puck drop.
