Mi-Kwan Tallman scored a pair of goals, including the tally that proved to be the game-winner in the second period, to lift the Missoula Junior Bruins to a 4-3 victory over the Great Falls Americans in a North American Tier 3 Hockey League Frontier Division tilt Saturday at an empty Ice Plex Arena.

The lack of fans was a direct result of new state and local directives limiting the number of spectators at sporting events to try and stem the spread to the COVID-19 virus.

The first of the season for the Americans came in their 11th contest. They still lead the Frontier Division by four points over the Bruins, who took over sole possession of second place in the division with the win.

The Americans are set to play Butte on Friday, and Missoula again on Saturday, both at the Ice Plex.
