BLAINE, Minn. – MIchael Fary  scored a pair of first period goals and assisted on another in the second stanza Sunday afternoon as the Great Falls Americans downed the Mid-Cities Junior Stars of Euless, Texas, 5-1 as the NA3HL Showcase hockey tournament got underway at the Schwann’s Ice Center.

Michael Houlihan, Jens Juliussen, and  Cody Dearing also found the back of the net, and netminder Bryan Sharp redirected all but one of the 13 shots aimed his direction.
