GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Americans Junior A hockey team has broken the news that their opponent for this weekend (Oct. 30-31), the Gillette Wild, alerted them that they are on COVID-19 quarantine protocol and will not be competing this weekend.

The marks the second and third matches for the Americans in the last two weeks that have been postponed. Last weekend, Great Falls was only able to play one match against the Missoula Jr. Bruins due to poor highway conditions caused by last weekend’s winter storm.

The Americans said they plan to get the postponed matches rescheduled as quickly as possible. Their next scheduled contest will be next Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Ice Plex against the Bozeman IceDogs.
