The Great Falls Americans, off to another fine start to begin the North American 3 Hockey League’s 2017 season, welcomes the Gillette Wild (2-7-1) to the Great Falls IcePlex this weekend for a pair of Frontier Division games.

Jeff Heimel’s Americans, 7-1 on the season and one point back of Helena for the division lead having played one fewer game than the Bighorns, have three skaters who have totaled double-digit points so far this season, including Adam Vandenbos (five goals, eight assists), Matt Janke (5G, 7A) and Payton McSharry (6G, 5A). The game, which begins a six-game homestand for Great Falls will begin at 7:30 p.m. The two squads meet again Saturday night at the same time.
