BOZEMAN —Five different players scored goals as the Great Falls Americans defeated the Bozeman IceDogs 5-3 Thursday night in a NA3HL Frontier Division match at Haynes Pavilion.

After playing even after 20 minutes, the Americans ran away with three goals in the second to take control.

Payton McSharry, Lindros Beard and Alexi Suchomlin each scored in that decisive period.

Jens Juilussen and Matt Janke also had tallies for Great Falls, who jumped out to a two-point lead over Helena with the win.  The Americans are 9-1-0-0 with 18 points, while the Bighorns have 16 markers with a record of  8-0-0-0. Bozeman drops to fourth place 4-4-0-0 and eight points.

The Americans are in Gillette for a two game series with the Wild on Friday and Saturday at Spirit Hall Arena.
