HAVRE – Tanner Congdon scored an unassisted goal and added an assist in the third period Friday night as the Great Falls Americans remained undefeated in the NA3HL Frontier Division with a 5-1 win over the Glacier Nationals at the Havre Ice Dome.

The Americans (4-0, 8 points) rallied to score four times in the third to break a 1-1 deadlock.

Malachi Bushey tied the game at 1-all in the second just 56 seconds after Glacier’s Tyler McMahon scored to give them a short-lived advantage.

Congdon’s unassisted goal came just two minutes into the final stanza, putting the Americans up for good. Congdon and Josh Larson helped out on Ricards Bernhards score at 5:35 of the third.

Jake Stephan and Tegan Harrington added the final two goals for Great Falls.

Kevin Hale deflected 23 of the 24 shots he faced to get the win in goal.

Glacier stayed winless in league play (0-4-1).

The Americans are home Saturday night to face the Billings Bulls, who are also winless after a 3-2 loss to the Yellowstone Quake Friday night in Cody, Wyo.

The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. at the IcePlex.
