The Great Falls Americans got goals from Wade Wylie, Lucas Stover and Cody Page Friday night and bounced back from a loss in Billings with a 3-1 victory over the Helena Bighorns in NA3HL Frontier Division play at the IcePlex.

The Americans scored in every period, while goalie Lauren Massie stymied Helena until Georgy Ostapchuk’s power play goal in the third.

The Americans and Bighorns face off again tonight at 7:05 in Helena, then return to the IcePlex next weekend for a two-game homestand. The Americans take on the Billings Bulls on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 7:30, then face off against the Glacier Nationals on Sunday, Jan. 11, at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, Alex Lundstrom scored a natural hat trick in the second period as the Billings Bulls defeated the Americans 6-1.

Lundstrom’s power play goal early in the second snapped a 1-1 tie, then he added a goal at about the 13-minute mark and his third with about 21/2 minutes remaining in the middle stanza. Steven Thompson, Reed Kaiser and Nick Rizzo added tallies for the Bulls, while Dylan Garton scored the lone goal for Great Falls in the first period.
