GILLETTE, Wyo. – The Great Falls Americans remain tied for first place in the Frontier Division of the North American Tier 3 Hockey League after sweeping their two-game set with the Gillette Wild this past weekend at the Spirit Hall Ice Arena.

Garrett Peters had two goals while Jens Juliussen added a goal and two assists Saturday night as the Americans prevailed, 6-1. The night before, the Americans got a pair of tallies from Cody Dearing in a 4-1 win.

The Americans and Helena Bighorns each have 53 points at the top of the standings. Great Falls is 26-7-0-1, while the Bighorns are 26-4-1-0 on the season.

The Americans and Butte Cobras will have a home and- home series this weekend. The Americans will host the first game Friday night at 7:30 at the IcePlex, while the Cobras are the home team at the Butte Community Ice Center Saturday at 7:30.
