GILLETTE, Wyo. — Steven Goran scored a power-play goal and added two assists Friday night as the division-leading Great Falls Americans downed the Gillette Wild 5-2 in an NA3HL Frontier Division matchup at Spirit Hall Ice Arena.

Goran assisted on Brendan Jester’s goal at the five-minute mark, the game’s first tally. Adam Apangalook made it 2-0 later in the period, and the Americans (8-2, 16 points) never looked back as they swept the two-game series with the Wild. The Americans added three goals in the third, including Goran’s.

Jake Stephan redirected 23 shots between the pipes for Great Falls, while Wild keeper Alex Feese saved 29 of the 34 shots he faced.

The Americans return home to host the Bozeman Ice Dogs Saturday night at 7:30 at the IcePlex.
