The Great Falls Americans hockey team of the North American 3 Hockey League are  on the road Friday night for a matchup  with the Helena Bighorns.

The Americans are 10-3-2 on the season and have compiled 22 points, five behind league-leader Yellowstone and one back of the Bighorns, who are 11-4-1 overall. The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m.

Great Falls has dropped two straight games after losing twice to Yellowstone last weekend at home. Adam Vandenbos, the team captain, has been stellar all season, leading the squad in points with 20, which includes nine goals and 11 assists.

Matt Janke (6G, 12A), Payton McSharry (9G, 8A), Cody Dearing (6G, 7A), Michael Fary (6G, 7A), Tanner Roth (5G, 7A), Jens Juliussen (4G, 6A) and Weston Goodman (3G, 7A) are the other seven skaters who have tallied double-digit points so far this season.

The two squads return to Great Falls and the IcePlex atop Gore Hill on Saturday night for a 7:30 start time. Bighorn forward Gavin Cline (9G, 12A) is leading the point producer for the hockey squad from Helena.
