GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Great Falls Americans hockey team hosted the Gillette Wild for the second straight night at the Great Falls Ice Complex on Saturday, November 24th. The Wild came away with a 3-1 victory.

Gillette jumped out first with a goal from Zach VanCompernolle in the first period. But the Americans respond in the second, with a goal from Peyton McSharry to tie up the game at 1. But the back breaker for Great Falls came with around 10 seconds left in the period, as Tyler Kaminski found the back of the net for another Wild goal and a 2-1 lead. The third Gillette goal from Ethan Becker in the third period was the nail in the coffin for the Americans.

It’s only the Americans fourth loss on the year, the team now sits at 17-4 and will host the division leading Helena Bighorns next on November 30th.
