GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Americans hosted the Missoula Junior Bruins at the Great Falls Ice Plex on Saturday, January 19th.

The Americans started out hot and didn’t look back in an 8-2 victory. Great Falls was led by three goals in the first period from Justin Ohnstad, Ben Rinckey, and an amazing behind-the-back between-the-legs goal from Peyton McSharry. McSharry would add another goal in the third period to make it an amazing 39 goals on the season.

George Nuutinen had two goals for the Americans in the contest, Jack Olson and Cody Dearing added one goal each. Missoula’s John Bannon and Christian Ward delivered the goals for the Bruins.

With the win, the Americans’ record rises to 30-7 on the year, while Missoula falls to 18-17. Great Falls will play on the road against the Helena Bighorns next on January 26th.
