GREAT FALLS — Three-power play tallies sparked the Americans past the visiting Helena Bighorns 5-1 in a penalty-marred contest before a solid crowd of 1,040 spectators at the Great Falls IcePlex.

GREAT FALLS, Mont., January 8, 2016 — Despite a penalty-filled contest, the Great Falls Americans turned four of their power plays into goals and defeated their rival, the Helena Bighorns 5-1 in front of a very large crowd of 1,040 spectators on Friday night at the Great Falls Ice Plex.

GILLETTE, Wyo., January 2, 2016 — The Gillette Wild came back from yesterday’s disappointing loss to top the Great Falls Americans 4-2. The home team scored twice in the first and second periods to hold on for the victory in front of a great crowd of 560 spectators at the Spirit Hall Ice Arena on Saturday night. The Americans lost for just the seventh time in 29 games.

GILLETTE, Wyo., January 1, 2016 — After a slow start by both teams, the Great Falls Americans offense lit up the scoreboard by scoring five goals in the third period to defeat the Gillette Wild 6-1 on Friday night at the Spirit Hall Ice Arena with 498 fans in attendance.

BLAINE, Minn., December 19, 2015 — For the second straight day at the Showcase Tournament, the Great Falls Americans made it to overtime but couldn’t gather any points in the extra period. The Americans, 1-0-2 at this year’s tournament, fell to the Toledo (Ohio) Cherokee 3-2 in overtime on the final day of the 2015 NA3HL Showcase tournament in Blaine, Minnesota.

BLAINE, Minn., December 18, 2015 — Kevin Perry helped the NA3EHL East Top Prospects team pick up a 3-2 victory over the Great Falls Americans with his successful penalty shot in overtime during the second day of action on Friday afternoon at the 2015 NA3HL Showcase tournament in Blaine, Minnesota.

BLAINE, Minn., December 17, 2015 — Josh Larson accumulated two goals and dished out one assist as the Great Falls Americans easily defeated the Euless (Texas) Jr. Stars by blanking them 7-0 on the first day of the 2015 NA3HL Showcase junior hockey tournament in Blaine, Minnesota. Nearly four hundred spectators saw these two NA3HL teams battle on the ice.
