The North American Tier 3 Hockey League is working with the Great Falls Americans and Missoula Junior Bruins to reschedule Friday’s postponed match between the two teams at the Ice Plex on Gore Hill.

The game, as well as the Bozeman-Helena matchup in the Capital City, were called off because of hazardous road conditions and near-blizzard weather Friday night. The temperature in Great Falls plunged to 11 degrees below zero while more than two inches of snow was being dumped on the city, making travel outside the city dangerous at best.

While nothing is set in stone at this juncture,  the teams are discussing making up  the game Friday, Jan. 12 at the Ice Plex. It is an open weekend for both squads.

The Americans were leading the Bozeman IceDogs 3-2 after two periods when this issue of the Tribune went to press Saturday night.
