Great Falls Americans forward Blake Nerney was awarded the Frontier Division Star of the Week after totaling 6 points in two games. The St. Louis, MO native scored two goals and added four assists. This season Nerney has played in 14 games and has totalled 8 points.

Great Falls Americans forward Tommy Gazich put up big numbers in the two games he appeared in to claim the Frontier Division Star of the Week. Gazich, a Hopkins, MN native, found the back of the net 5 times and added two assists for 7 points in just two games. Gazich has played in 37 games this season totalling 51 points with 28 goals and 23 assists.

Thomas Gazich, Forward, GF Americans
Great Falls Americans forward Thomas Gazich recorded 7 points in three games to earn the Frontier Division Star of the Week. In Friday’s 6-4 win against the Badlands Sabres, Gazich found the back of the net twice. In Saturday’s game two against the Sabres, Gazich netted two goals and added two assists in the Americans 7-3 win. In the Americans third game in three days, Gazich added a goal in a 5-3 victory over the Bozeman Icedogs. This season, Gazich has played in 29 games totalling 37 points (20G, 17A) on the year.

Tyler Sunagel, Forward, GF Americans
Sunagel recorded a whopping eight points in Great Falls’ two games last week to triple his season-long output to that point. Friday’s matchup in Sheridan saw the Plymouth, Wisc., native notch a goal and two helpers — his second multi-point outing in three games — while Saturday’s rematch featured Sunagel’s first hat-trick of the year alongside two more assists. Sunagel boasts 5g-7a—12pts in 10 games this year and has posted 10 points in his last four games.

Gazich starred for Great Falls despite the team dropping a pair of games to undefeated Helena, as the 2002-born Gazich grabbed five points across the back-to-back set. Gazich, a native of Hopkins, Minn., posted his second straight outing with a goal and an assist on Friday, then upped the ante with a goal and two helpers on Saturday. After two goose-eggs, Gazich has tallied multiple points in each of his last three games and boasts 7g-6a—13pts in nine games this season.
