The Great Falls Americans traded substitute goalie Cam McIntosh to the Bozeman Ice Dogs for future considerations, the NA3HL Frontier Division club announced Friday.

McIntosh, a senior at Great Falls High, played in four games with the Americans, compiling a record of 1-1 with a goals against average of 2.63 in 159 minutes of ice time.

Americans coach Greg Sears said the third-place Ice Dogs, with a record of 22-10-4-0 (48 points), had pretty much run out of goalies for their Friday night match at Helena.

“Their top two goalies (AJ Ruskowski and Mikael Levokari) are both down with injuries,” Sears said.

The 6-1, 170-pound McIntosh will start to the Ice Dogs at Helena Friday.

The Americans (30-7-0-1, 61 pts.) are idle Friday night, but play in Helena Saturday at 7:05 p.m. They currently have a five-point advantage over Helena in the Frontier Division going into Friday’s action.
